Job Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Chartering Manager in marketing the vessels operated by Livestock Express; 
  • Conducting voyage estimates and providing quotations to clients;  
  • Developing, maintaining and improving business relations;  
  • Conducting research, compiling market reports and identifying market opportunities;  
  • Maintaining voyage and fixture data in the voyage management software (IMOS);  
  • Fostering a positive working climate between the different departments within the Company involved in day-to-day fleet operations. 

 

Skills
  • A relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (e.g. Economics/Business Administration/ Maritime), supplemented by a minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience; 
  • Working experience in the shipping industry (chartering or operations) is considered a plus; 
  • Good customer-relationship management skills; 
  • Ability to work in a careful and thorough manner, are good with numbers and possess excellent analytical skills; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English.
