Job Responsibilities

Hazardous desk:

  • Checking the IMO containers on the quay based on the quay lists
  • Based on this, write to the colleague booker for long-standings
  • Follow-up of this
  • If necessary, send transport orders (standard mails) to the carrier naar
  • General assistance from colleagues
  • Any declarations are only possible if the person has a certificate

Transhipment:

  • Create mini cuscars, draw up and check boat lists
  • If you know how to tackle: the less complex boats/bookings roll if necessary

 

 

Skills
  • You are very accurate and analytically skilled;
  • You are highly motivated and eager to help;
  • You are a driven team player and you want to learn a lot;
  • You are flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment stimulated by time pressure and changing deadlines;
  • You have no leave plans during the months of July and August

What are you bringing?

  • You have at least a diploma of secondary education or bachelor, experience in the maritime sector is certainly an asset;
  • Experience of dangerous goods is also a plus, but not a must;
  • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently;
  • You have a good knowledge of the common IT systems and applications, especially Excel is necessary (intermediate knowledge)
