Deck Crew

Job Responsibilities

Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Deck Crew on a permanent basis based in Ninian South, UK.

 

• Helicopter/Helideck operations, including fueling, passenger control, freight, and baggage.
• First line firefighting on helideck.
• General deck duties i.e., cleaning, painting, fabric maintenance, stores delivery and materials handling
• Crane duties including deck and supply boat unloading / backloading, as the Banksman Slinger and / or load handler
• Direct discharging and back loading of marine vessels.
• Distribution of platform materials.
• Replacement and Inspection of Bulk Loading Hoses.
• Maintain the proper condition of tools and test equipment.
• Inspection of helideck firefighting equipment.
• Properly document and accurately report all relevant data.
• Undertake training as offered by the company to expand his or her area of competency.
• Assists in the management of any emergency situation, which may arise offshore in accordance with Company Emergency Response Procedures and performs nominated tasks in the Emergency Response team.
• Demonstrates a personal commitment to Health, safety, and the Environment.
