Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Forming and lead a team successfully to deliver clear technical advice to our Clients and support our Projects throughout all stages of the design process.
  • Managing the design and engineering works in line with contractual requirements, schedule, budget, opportunities and risks and the commercial agendas of our internal and external customers, in such a way that an optimal project result is achieved.
  • Supervising and assessing work of colleagues, subcontractors and customers during the execution of tenders and projects. Coaching the team members on the job and contribute to their personal development.
  • Communicating clearly with different stakeholders such as technical, commercial and operational teams, Clients and consultants.
  • Evaluating the work performed to constantly learn from it. Driving continuous improvement of departmental processes and procedures by identifying lessons learned and ensuring implementation of follow-up actions related to those.

 

Skills

You can make your mark as an Engineering Manager if you have:

  • A degree in Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid management skills, able to initiate and complete engineering assessments, together with others, within the estimated time frame and with top quality.
  • Customer focused and keen on achieving results, understanding the interests of the organization.
  • Excellent communications skills, able to discuss across all levels of the Project organization and able to operate convincingly, both alone and in a team. Good command of written and spoken English.
