- Optimal equipment management, target stock level maintenance and distribution planning.
- Proactive communication with stakeholders on opportunities and challenges related to your assigned geography.
- Collaboration with commercial teams on customer requirements, forecasts and equipment supply. Engage with suppliers to deliver high-quality service to our customers.
- Collaboration with our Equipment Maintenance and Repair specialists on equipment availability/standards.
- Drive Cost Leadership. Use local knowledge and initiative to reduce and control costs.
- Become an expert in local depot and transport operations.
- Oversee Purchase Order creation and approval processes.
- Update and maintain relevant systems.
- Involvement in container sales, off hires, on hires and leasing.
- Support and reflect company commitment to quality accreditation, environmental consciousness and a safe work environment.
- Perform other position related duties as specified by management.
Skills
- Experience in Shipping, Forwarding, Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain would be an advantage.
