The Fleet General Manager provides a critical role where you’ll be expected to draw on your capabilities for effective collaboration, pragmatic problem solving and a close eye for performance standards.
Day to Day Management of Tanker Fleet
Duties include but not limted to ; ISM and ISO auditing, policy & procedure review, emergency & oil spill prevention & response plan development & training, budget preparation and general fleet operations.
Promote good communication between ashore departments and ship crew
Ensuring the seaworthiness of assigned vessels (i.e: properly manned, maintained and equipped)
Leading Emergency Response Team
Team leader for all QHSSE audits or inquries onboard
Monitoring of corrective and preventive actions
Accident investigation
Qualification
Master Mariner - Tanker
Skills
Previous experience of Manageing fleet of ships
Master Mariner( tankers - Mandatory)
Experinced in ISM and ISO , ISPS and accident investigations
Knowledge in QHSE management
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment;
