Junior Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

You provide the project teams on site (from the Afsluitdijk to the tropical Maldives or even off the coast of Taiwan) with topographical and hydrographic information on the basis of which important decisions are made. On a rotational basis, with a good work/life balance, you provide information necessary for the safe, sustainable and efficient execution of works costing millions. Whether it concerns land reclamation, an offshore wind farm or the construction of a port, the project teams must be able to rely implicitly on your information. From setting up, maintaining and calibrating the advanced measuring equipment to the analyzes and processing into accurate and reliable maps.

Skills
  • A completed HBO or WO education in the field of Ocean Technology, Hydrography or similar;
  • A good command of the English language;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • A flexible attitude and the willingness to work abroad for (longer) periods;
  • Personal qualities such as stress-resistant, results-oriented, team spirit and enterprising.
