Marine Coordinator Job In Europe

 

  • Wind farm monitoring with AIS-based VTMS observation systems
  • Coordination and communication via radio with project vessels and teams on site
  • Requesting and approving certificates as part of personnel and vessel registration, including using a permit-to-work system 
  • Project-related reporting and documentation, including in cooperation with the relevant authorities
  • Advising our clients on technical nautical issues
  • Emergency coordination via water, land and air according to the project emergency plan

Location:  Denmark/Germany (company flat included)

Employment:  24/7 shift operation in 8-12 hr rotation with corresponding compensatory time off (14 days on/14 days off)

Start: By arrangement

Requirements: Certificate of Competency (COC) according to STCW II/1, Radio Operator Certificate for VHF radio (ROC/GOC)

Skills
  • Experience as Marine Coordinator or Nautical Watch Officer in offshore wind projects
  • Excellent German language skills (native language or C2 level)
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Ability to work in a team, resilience, flexibility and an independent way of working
  • Confident handling of MS-Office applications and industry standard hardware (TETRA, VHF, ECDIS)
  • Readiness to travel and to work holidays, weekends and nights
