Marine Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in managing Maritime Safety, Support Vessel and Offshore Logistics supply operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in compliance with Wood and Brunei Shell Petroleum regulations and objectives
  • Lead the development of local talent to future marine management positions
  • Manage budget related to maritime costs
  • Manage Maritime Risk controls
  • Support Project Management by provision of specific expertise in response to Crisis Management to Marine related incidents, providing advice where require
Skills
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum Degree in Engineering
  • Good working knowledge of maritime management systems within the oil and gas industry
  • In addition, the incumbent shall be familiar with the requirements for the HSSE aspects, Quality Assurance and Control requirements in relation to the project cycle
  • Proficient in the use of standard desk top software, data compilation and manipulation and competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly
  • Good knowledge of legislative requirements for onshore and offshore fabrications management
  • Proven ability to work to demanding project schedules
