BSc or MSc or equivalent level of qualification in marine engineering or naval architecture, knowledge and experience in both disciplines would be beneficial;
Minimum of 10 years of relevant technical experience (sea going would beneficial);
Technically authorised for major survey tasks on various vessel types & special service craft
Excellent communication and reporting skills in English as well as Turkish language;
To use a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to optimise the application of existing and emerging technology;
To be able to apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to the analysis and solution of engineering problems;
Travel both offshore and overseas, sometimes at short notice and in the weekend;
Ability to work both independently as well as an effective member of a team;
Living in Istanbul
