Job Responsibilities
Marine Surveyor Job in Dubai,United Arab Emirates
The job holder shall execute all types of ship surveys and produce Interim survey reports immediately after each attendance. As well as a final and formal survey reports within 30 days from the date the survey attendances are completed.
This role shall report to the Cluster Manager – Lower Gulf & Africa. The main responsibilities of the role shall be:
- Execute the prescribed services with respect to the work of the Agency of the Lloyds of London, corresponding with the Major Protection and Indemnity clubs and arranges/attends to independent cargo and marine assignments within the Emirate of Dubai and if required other Emirates of the UAE.
- Complete survey assignments (Marine, P&I, H&M cargo and BQS surveys); communicate professionally with clients and third parties, issue preliminary and final reports within the prescribed period.
- Shall support/assist his Line Manager to oversee all services provided to the local and international markets. He/She shall also ensure supports to the requirements of other company’s streams such as Ship agency, Liner services in terms of work applications received from their own principals.
- Shall support his Line Manager to ensure that all work is performed on an independent and impartial basis and based on facts, as related to individual cases dealt with. Further, he shall foster and promote a spirit of professional excellence; work accountability and making certain that these are also priorities to cater to.
