Marine Surveyor for Ship in Service

Job Responsibilities

RINA Thailand is a branch office of RINA SpA, one of classification societies in the world and a founding member of IACS.

We are currently looking for Marine Surveyor in our Thailand office

*Please note that this job is open for Thai Nationals only*

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out Class and Statutory surveys on ships-in-service of different ship types.
  • To carry out inspections for certification of materials, components, marine products and service suppliers in accordance with the applicable rules and requirements.
  • To prepare technically accurate and timely reports as required.
  • Carrying out other technical jobs as assigned by the Office Manager.
Skills

Education And Professional Qualifications

  • Experience in an IACS Society qualified for Annual/Renewal surveys.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or relevant sea-going experience
  • Proficient in the use of computers - for Windows OS and MS Office.
  • Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.

  • Must possess a open and transparent communication with the team
  • Must a good team player
  • Must be able to manage conflicts and to negotiate difficult situations
