Perform fleet in service surveys (FiS) according to rules and regulations.
Effectively interact with owner’s representatives at the yard.
Manage clients together with other relevant parts of our organization.
Complete project-oriented work, including cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects.
Follow up periodical surveys and assessments at customer sites.
Perform project control, reporting, and follow-up within the due date.
Responsible for professional and consistent deliveries throughout the project - plan, coordinate, follow up and improve. the operational activities of the project by the framework in the DNV strategy, budget, the DMS, and other applicable instructions.
If any other task is required by Line Manager/management team.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering with previous experience in Maritime Engineering or Master Mariner.
At least 5 years of experience in the Marine industry.
Previous experience in a Class Society will be an obvious advantage.
ISM/ISPS/MLC experience is an advantage.
Understanding of class & statutory survey work and responsibilities is an advantage.
Portuguese and English Speaking/Writing proficiency is mandatory.
Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job such as Working at Heights and in Confined Spaces.
Availability to work outside normal working hours, if the job requires.
