Offshore Installation Manager job in Ajman UAE

At Eni, we are looking for an Offshore Installation Manager within Eni SpA in Dubai (FPSO). You will be responsible for complete and ultimate command of the unit and will be the person to whom all personnel onboard are reporting. The OIM is the Owner Representative offshore, and, as the most senior person onboard, they are the Master of the floating production asset.

As a member of Eni SpA you will be responsible for:

• Managing the contract onboard, ensuring the maximum vessel operational performance in compliance with the contractual and legal requirements, laws, rules and regulations and Company Policies
• Coordinating the periodical review/maintenance of the Safety Management System and other supporting Documentation
• Operating the shipboard communication equipment and holds ultimate responsibilities for all communication
• Managing the overall operation and all related activities with the support of all Heads of Department
• Coordinating and guaranteeing the information flow with the onshore Company Departments
• Ensuring, with the support of Cargo Superintendent, that all flag, class and other statutory certification is registered, stored and maintained on board with copies sent to the onshore departments
• Monitoring the levels of competency on board and ensure that corrective action takes place
• Monitoring the annual assessments of personnel, ensuring fairness and accuracy
• Managing the day-to-day disciplinary and performance issues on board with appropriate reference to the Operations Manager
• Properly coordinating with the Cargo Superintendent on all Marine related issues
• Coordinating training requests from Heads of Department for personnel
• Assisting the Company Departments during audits on board in co-operation with Heads of Department
