Offshore Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

Work schedule of 14x14 with the crew change out of Houma, LA.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.
 

  • Schedule all contract and out of contract boat transportation used in supporting offshore production platform activities.
  • Incumbent will have extensive logistics background along with excellent organizational skills and a working knowledge of accounting procedures.
  • Boat Transportation:
  • Scheduling of All Boats
  • Scheduling Ad-hoc Trips
  • Maintain Logs of Boats
  • Invoice Reconciliation Activity by Vessel
  • Cost Allocation
  • Customer Billing Sheet Preparation if needed
  • Economic Justification if needed
  • Coordinate all material transfers & associated cargo manifests
  • Maintain Current Master Contract
  • Transportation List
  • May preform other duties as assigned.
Skills

Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years of experience in a logistics position required. A working knowledge of helicopers, boat deck, fuel, water, other cargo or tank capacities along with working knowledge of vessel speeds and how they are affected by weather conditions.

Preferred: A university degree or equivalent in a technical discipline preferred; 5+ years’ experience in an offshore logistics position.
