Operations Assistant
Job Responsibilities
Offer administrative support and ensuring both vessel and permits and certifications are maintained
Assist in office coordination including preparing purchase requisitions, oversee invoicing and general reception duties
Maintain and enforce a safe working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors
Maintain and improve all administrative systems and processes
Act as the direct point of contact for crew on all operational administrative matters
Skills
Previous experience in administrative or operations duties, preferably in the maritime industry
Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, or a similar discipline
Demonstrate organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment when required, demonstrating initiative and willingness to contribute
Strong computer literacy, including knowledge across various software's such as Microsoft office, business management and accounting programs
