Operations Assistant

Job Responsibilities

 


  • Offer administrative support and ensuring both vessel and permits and certifications are maintained

  • Assist in office coordination including preparing purchase requisitions, oversee invoicing and general reception duties

  • Maintain and enforce a safe working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors

  • Maintain and improve all administrative systems and processes

  • Act as the direct point of contact for crew on all operational administrative matters
Skills

 

  • Previous experience in administrative or operations duties, preferably in the maritime industry

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, or a similar discipline

  • Demonstrate organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment when required, demonstrating initiative and willingness to contribute

  • Strong computer literacy, including knowledge across various software's such as Microsoft office, business management and accounting programs

  • The right to live and work in Australia
