Operations Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

  • Register and keep data bases updated and online for external inspections (assist preparation of inspection of vessel, share best practices, actions and answers);
  • Ensure documentation and certificates up to date;
  • Maintain close relationship with Class societies, Flags;
  • Assist for the good development of levels of OSM as per BOURBON's plan;
  • Follow and register Referent Masters planning and answer to Operations Managers' needs;
  • Follow expectations activities of the fleet and report;
  • Assist the Operations Managers in answering to marketing department for new tenders;
  • Prepare and propose with the Operations Director any communication to share best practices;
  • Assist the Operations Managers upon approval of the Operations Director for day-to-day activities in case of extra work and vacations; and
  • Perform other cognate duties as may be required.
Skills
  • Hold a degree in Business Administration and/or alternate relevant qualification;
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in similar position and have a sound exposure in multi-national company;
  • Knowledge of marine industry and/or oil and gas industry will be a plus (STCW, MLC 2006, flags, etc.);
  • Sound organizational skills and able to manage priorities;
  • Dynamic and polyvalent and you have excellent communication and customer-service skills;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and to think and act quickly under pressure;
  • Willing to work autonomously and be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office especially excel; and
  • A perfect command of French and English is mandatory.
