Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible in ensuring COP’s interest is protected in the assets.
  • Responsible in monitoring and analysis of production and operational aspects of Partner Operated Assets.
  • Responsible in developing performance and production input to obligitory COP and regulatory reporting.
  • Responsible for all operational and production issues, including project related activities that impact operations and production.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with partners and the other upstream operators in Malaysia.
  • Support achievement of production goals through the management of downtime and operating efficiency.
  • Influence the operators’ management of costs.
  • Share accountability for building annual Long Range Plan (LRP) for Malaysia Business Unit (MBU).
     

HSE Roles:
 

  • Comply with HSE policies, Life Saving Rules, procedures, goals and programs within the MBU HSE Management System.
  • Actively engage in and contribute to HSE communication and consultation processes.
  • Actively participate in HSE initiatives and programs that include but not limited to, Safety Observations and HSE Trainings.
  • Support company sustainability development (SD) initiatives and other environmental policies and practices.
Skills

 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years E&P industry experience.
  • Operations and maintenance experience, front end engineering exposure, prior experience in managing partners.
