QA/QC Advisor

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Contract Quality Management System for designated contracts.
  • Maintain and monitor each contract team’s progress against the established Contract Quality Plan (CQP).
  • Maintain, develop and accept quality documentation and records.
  • Review and acceptance of purchase requisitions and accompanying documentation (including SDRLs, specifications and quality-related instructions).
  • Review and acceptance of subcontractor documentation.
  • Support Supply Chain with supplier performance monitoring activities.
  • Review and accept work packs at the development and close-out stages.
  • Compile management reports (where required) and developing and maintaining Quality related KPIs.
  • Provide assurance for the Management of Change (MOC) process including reviewing CPs and ensuring compliance with the established process.
  • Manage the completion of Corrective Actions related to designated projects and locations including the recording, investigation and action management of NCRs.
  • Actively participate in identifying and raising Knowledge Sharing and Improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with QC Inspection team and participate in selected QC activities.
  • Coordinate / conduct quality induction and quality awareness programs. Assist with the development and implementation of quality related initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of corporate and project audit plans.
  • Conduct assigned internal and second party audits.
  • Facilitate customer and regulatory audits at designated location(s).
  • Maintain and develop assigned BMS processes, procedures, forms etc.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of EPS West quality objectives and related initiatives.
  • Provide Quality related input to bids and tenders.
  • Provide advice and guidance on all Quality matters related to designated contracts and locations.
  • Develop strong working links within the EPS West HSSEIAQ team and internal customers.
  • Actively participate in Personal and Professional Development activities.
Skills
  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject (or vocational qualifications at an equivalent level supported by appropriate experience).
  • A good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance techniques.
  • A basic understanding of technology across a range of engineering disciplines.
  • Auditor qualification (from an IRCA (or equivalent) approved training provider).
