We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer, Local Business Line (LBL) Marine Systems, Norway, Marine & Ports Division. You will be reporting to Team Leader and will be part of LBL Coast Guard and Navy - Team Power. Primary focus will be on projects within the Navy segment but will also work with commercial marine projects. A Project Engineer in Team Power mainly works on the integration and design of the power generation and distribution systems. Senior Project Engineers in ABB Marine are responsible for the technical leadership and engineering within the projects, hence the ability to combine practical and theoretical knowledge is a key success factor. You will also get the opportunity to travel to customers, suppliers and shipyards, mainly within Europe.

Your responsibilities
 

• System engineering, detail design, engineering and analysis of medium voltage and low voltage AC and DC systems
• Electrical integration of fuel cells and energy storage systems
• Quality control throughout design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and customer acceptance tests
• Functionality and interface between the onboard systems
• Technical review of project documentation
