Establish optimal loading and unloading vessels plans
Make sure that vessels voyages and port operations go smoothly
Secure, in close cooperation with Captains/Second Officers, the good conditions of vessels seaworthiness throughout the voyage
Ensure that all material equipment improving the productivity and port turnaround times is available, in connection with Terminals and Agents
Cooperate with the different parties of the Line and all operational support teams (Dangerous Cargo Office, Oil Management…)
Monitor and manage special loadings together with the dedicated teams: dangerous cargo, Reefers, Out Of Gauge (OOG, Breakbulk) in line with the international regulations (IMDG code, ISM…) as well as the Group and Line’s instructions
Evaluate the feasibility of Changes of Destination (COD) according to their position on board, following the request of sales teams, Logistics Department and partners
Validate Port Call Reports (PCR) sent by Agents
Participate in the development of statistics and ensure the monitoring of bunkers consumption
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Shipping or Degree as Shipping Clerk
Several years of relevant experience - ideally also on board
Fluent English in speaking and writing
Good command of IT tools and a good knowledge of specific planning and/or vessels stability calculation software programmes
Reactive, rigorous and organised, you carry out your operational missions with anticipation, and you are able to manage priorities and emergencies
Flexible approach of working time (you may be expected to work on weekends)
