Job Responsibilities

DNV – Maritime UAE is seeking a n enthusiastic Maritime Ship Surveyor to join our Dubai Office FIS team . As a “Fleet in Service” Surveyor in UAE , you will be a member of a highly qualified team of surveyors and auditors in UAE. You will be based in Dubai and serving all Dubai, Abu Dhabi , Fujairah ports and O ffshore areas. Also other GCC and Middle east ports, s hipyards and offshore as needed.

Skills
  • Bachelors or higher in Naval Architect, Marine Engineer , Mechanical Engineer or experience as Chief Engineer.
  • Minimum 3- 5 years of related experience.
  • Professional level of English Speaking / Writing .
  • Technical competencies: DNV or other class society qualifications as class & statutory surveyor; ISM, MLC and ISPS auditor will be a plus
  • Behavioral competencies: Team player but able to work independently on surveys/audits , solution oriented and customer focus skills.
  • Travel requirement (% of the year) : 25%
  • Physical fitness and abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job like : Climbing pilot ladders & in/out of tanks and confined spaces; crew boat launches in various local climate conditions.
