Shipping Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

At Eni, we are looking for a Shipping Coordinator within Eni Mexico in Mexico City. You will be responsible for negotiating all necessary agreements related to the commercialization of the crude oil production under the Area 1 through the new coming Floating Production Storage and Offloading Terminal (“FPSO”) and to ensure regular shipment of crude oil in accordance with the relevant agreements to be finalized with the First Party CNH and/or PMI.

As a member of Commercial Department at Eni Mexico you will be responsible for :

  • Negotiating the Lifting Procedure with the First Party CNH and/or the Marketer of their equity production PMI.
  • Supporting the Operation Department in define the Terminal Handbook.
  • Preparing a firm monthly lifting programme based on continuously updated knowledge of production forecasts, actual production, oil stocks, receipts, and shipments at the FPSO, and any partners’ lifting requirements as dictated by agreements with them.
  • Ensuring in coordination with ETS Inc, ETB and Head Office all lifting/shipping programs in terms of relevant quantities and scheduling.
  • Assisting and coordinating negotiate with First Party and any partner on any upstream agreements relevant to oil/liquids production stemming out of EMX’s portfolio management or new initiatives.
  • Negotiating with ETB the intercompany regulatory framework as applicable.
  • Following up on the actual production figures and compare them with agreed lifting plans in order to recommend any corrective measures.
  • Monitoring Over/Under lifting situation of EMX’s equity crudes and to interface regularly with ETS Inc, ETB and Head Office competent commercial function to ensure full integration among the Business Unit and head quarter plans and targets.
  • Supporting the issuance process of oil sales invoices from EMX and the relevant cash collection from ETS Inc as needed.
  • Coordinating with internal departments such as Finance & Technical regarding lifting, reporting and technical/operational concerns that may arise and that might affect lifting.
  • Liaising partners to ensure compliance with scheduled lifting programmes.
  • Following up the evolution of the oil market in collaboration with Eni S.p.A..
  • Ensuring the keeping of records of products lifted and calculation of demurrage claims, liaising with all interested parties for a speedy disposal of the claims.
  • Representing EMX in stock reconciliation activities with any partners, appropriate government agencies and in the quarterly review meetings.

 

Skills
  • Education: Appropriate degree
  • Language: Italian, Spanish and English
  • Experience in economic and commercial aspects
  • Knowledge, Technical or Professional Skills: Oil Commercialization, Conversant with various types of agreements, including PSC Contracts , Terminal Manual and Lifting Procedures.
