Site Marine Specialist

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting the coordination of safe, reliable, compliant and efficient marine terminal operations and hydrocarbon transfers, using basic technical and analytical capabilities to improve operational performance.

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of marine SOLs, processes and procedures in line with GOO requirements and industry standard methodology.
• Align with Operating Subject area and adherence to behavioural based safety systems
• Undertake marine self-verification as required and requested.
• Manage and maintain relationship with Government Authorities, ship agents and cargo surveyors.
• Attend as the bp Marine Terminals Representative during meetings with officials.
• Act as the bp Marine Terminals Representative at annual meetings with lifters.
• Manage Terminal Coordinator (Operations by collaborating closely with internal partners concerning production rates, scheduling and export crude quality and liaising with external)
• Partners and other partners as may be needed with respect to scheduling and nominations.
• Manage any operational challenges on both assets that have impact on the production forecast communications between IST and PCO;
