Perform Fleet in Service (FIS) Surveys according to rules and regulations
Effectively interact with owner’s representatives and other key stakeholders at the yard.
Participate in certification and verification of material & products (CMC) according to rules and specified standards
Support other service lines within maritime, (e.g., New Building)
Manage clients together with other relevant parts of our organization
Exhibit customer-oriented focus through promoting DNV onboard or on-site and by acting as a technical resource for customer question
Complete project-oriented work, including cooperation in interdisciplinary verification projects
Perform project control, reporting, and follow-up within the due date
Communicate to line management at the earliest appropriate opportunity if in receipt of information that is important to the reputation or integrity of DNV.
Responsible for professional and consistent deliveries throughout the project - plan, coordinate, follow up and improve the operational activities of the project by the framework in the DNV strategy, budget, the DMS, and other applicable instructions
Skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience of at least 6 years in the Maritime/Marine industry, ideally as a surveyor in a Classification Society
Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job as working at heights and in confined spaces
Fluency in Bulgarian and English language
Hold a driver's license
Availability for traveling, including voyage surveys
Customer service orientation with a positive and proactive attitude
Team player but able to work independently on surveys
Adaptable to change and comfortable with technology and digital tools
Ability to work well under stressful conditions
