Technical Assistant

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the Vessel Management team where you will be the connecting link between TORM’s vessels and related stakeholders. You will be working closely with vessel managers on the day-to-day operations of our vessels. The successful candidate will have focus on delivering high quality technical operations for our vessels.

 

As Technical Assistant, your tasks and responsibilities include:

 

  • Maintaining records, service reports, certificates, plans, manuals and drawings
  • Liaising with vessels as required and maintain ship specific data related to various projects within vessel management
  • Maintaining and monitoring records of surveys, inspections and certification of the vessel, so that they are conducted in a planned and timely manner
  • Arranging for class and statutory surveys
  • Preparing technical reports
  • Arranging for periodic technical services

Furthermore, you have / are:

 

  • A graduate degree
  • Relevant experience of about two years in a similar role
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate with various stakeholders
  • Excellent at team work
  • Proficient in MS Office
