Technical Superintendent - Subsea
Job Responsibilities
1.1 Role Summary
Overall responsibility is to ensure that the BOP complies with Seadrill corporate standards and standard jobs is ready for running after between wells maintenance.
1.2JOB SPECIFIC
Specific Tasks In Connection With The Role
- Attend the rig during between wells maintenance on BOP
- Review PM tasks (monthly, annually, 5 yrs, between wells) and ensure standard jobs established across the fleet
- Spot check data quality in maintenance system
- Assist the offshore rigs with roving team during running/pulling BOP operations to mentor and guide, while maintaining ownership and responsibility with in the rig team and Subsea supervisor as head of subsea of department offshore
- Perform annual corporate audits on subsea equipment/departments
- Liaise with vendors/lead engineers and review equipment reliability/upgrades, technical bulletins, technical reports and technical proposals
- Perform competency assessment for all subsea crews and advise on any additional required training programs to improve and develop skills
- Assess trainee subsea engineers and perform rig site exams
- Ensure best practices and lesson learnt are shared from various rigs
- Attend BOP commissioning/acceptance at OEM workshop and shipyards
- Review MOC from rigs
- Issue daily reports and final rig visit report with actions in Synergy
1.3AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible For /ensure
- BOP quality assurance and reduce in related downtime
- To assist offshore team in building skills and experience
- Feedback on equipment reliability issues in order to improve design with OEMs
- All deepwater fleet operates within Seadrill corporate standards and standard jobs
1.4DELIVERABLES
- Daily report during rig visits
- End of rig visit report with actions updated in synergy together with report
- Performance and reliability issues sharing to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
