• You will report to the Head of Energy Performance and Operations.
• Driving energy efficiency initiatives and maximizing fuel optimization potential across the Maersk own and TC fleet
• Be a key player in driving improvement in the overall TC fleet composition through bunker efficiency evaluation at pre-fixture, post fixture and through the charter period.
• Close collaboration with the Chartering team to ensure optimal TC fleet composition.
• Liaise and interact with T/C owners or appointed Technical Managers in all vessel energy performance related matters.
• To ensure that we operate a highly energy efficient fleet of Charter vessels by having strong collaboration / engagement with internal & external stakeholders.
• Be a key change agent in setting and implementing standards for energy performance management solutions across the time-chartered fleet.
• Continuous development of T/C vessel Performance team, ensuring needed capabilities and skills available.
• Facilitate and ensuring team high team engagement in T/C Vessel Performance team.
• Together with the rest of the Energy Performance team drive a One Team approach internally in Fleet Operations as well as with all internal stakeholders.
Skills
• Mechanical/Marine Engineer/Naval Architect, with strong understanding of Ship’s onboard operations.
• Previous experience in the field of chartering and/or setting up of fuel /performance management systems will be an added advantage
• Should possess strong leadership and communication skills
• Sea going experience with experience in Senior Ranks is preferred but not mandatory.
• Self-Motivated, energetic individual with a strong strategic and analytical mindset.
• Should be able to influence/lead discussions with stakeholders to achieve collaborative results
• Can work efficiently across diverse and multicultural teams.
• You have enhanced problem-solving skills and interest in tackling challenges with innovative solution and maximizing the use of resources available.
• Should be able to enjoy working in a fast paced, result oriented environment.
