General cargo ship SAGA FAITH had to divert to Montevideo while under way in Rio de la Plata, in the morning Apr 26, in need of immediate medical assistance to sick crew, who lost consciousness while having breathing problem. MRCC Uruguay informed Navy, patrol boat approached the ship and sent on board paramedics team, but they couldn’t resuscitate him. 38-year old seman of Indian nationality, regretfully, died. His rank wasn’t revealed, no details were given with regards to the character of his illness. The ship left Sao Fransisco du Sul Brazil, on Apr 23, bound for Nueva Plamira, Uruguay, ETA Apr 26.
