Job Responsibilities

Vessel Manager Job In Denmark

 

  • Overall management and technical support to 4-5 assigned vessels.
  • Ensure that your assigned vessels are always in compliance with classification and flag requirements.
  • Responsible for OPEX and Drydock budgets for the assigned vessels.
  • Technical issues resolution for assigned vessels.
  • Management of vessel maintenance ensuring optimal operational efficiency.
  • Enabling and warranting that the vessels are always tradable.
  • Act as custodian for ensuring that the vessels’ staff adhere to the company’s quality guidelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Act as ambassador for our performance leadership program on the assigned vessels.
  • Promote and drive our One TORM Safety Culture

You have/are:

 

  • Marine Engineer educational background with excellent results.
  • Marine background and professional experience as engineer onboard a tanker vessel is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least three years’ experience from a similar role.
  • A team-oriented personality with intercultural understanding, international mindset and awareness.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, written and verbally at a professional level
  • Customer focus and ability to communicate easily with both technical and commercial staff.
